St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, Miss.) senior wide receiver Chase Rogers moved into the state’s record books in Friday night’s 56-14 Class 4A playoff win over Green County (Leakesville, Miss.).

With six catches for 128 yards and a touchdown, the Tennessee commit Rogers set the Mississippi record for career receiving touchdowns (44) and career receiving yardage (3,706). And as it turns out, according to the Sun Herald, he broke the records formerly held by St. Stanislaus alum Krisjon Wilkerson.

The quarterback getting Rogers the ball, LSU commit Myles Brennan, had a nice Friday night as well. Despite throwing his first interception of the season, Brennan, an LSU commit, still was a cool 22-for-39 for 457 yards and six touchdowns as the Rock-A-Chaws improved to 10-1. Per NOLA.com, Brennan has now thrown for 3,663 yards and 46 touchdowns in 11 games.

St. Stanislaus moves on to play Mendenhall on Nov. 11.
